Alla Dolce Vita - Lifestyle - Morocco, Marzouga , Sahara Dunes, 31st Dec 2010

Alla Dolce Vita : Vacanze di Natale e Capodanno 2010. ( ENGLISH FOLLOWS )

1) pagate sempre dopo in Marocco ;-)

Buon divertimento e Salamalekum.

Alla Dolce Vita: Chirstams Holiday and 31st December 2010.

Morocco is a fascinating and colourful country, rich in purfums and unique and magnetic lanscapes.
To be sick for Africa ( the missing feeling for Africa ), arises form this magic mix which projects in a so far time-space dimension from west, that it’s easy thinking of a trip in time. After overcoming the Atlas, central Morocco offers landscapes so vivid in colours, which seems to be cherished from brush just taken from the palette...
The villages and small installations following along the roads heading south, offer precious examples of laborious and learned manufacture, capable of working out and materializing jewels of architecture and Engeneering, built like water crystal, showing the perfect simmetry for few seconds before liquefying...the Kashbas, built with wood, mud, straw and sand, which consume like candles along the decades.

Red masters all over with all its different cromathic deviations which, surprisengly, marry with the blue of the clear and pure sky rocking the minds of the lucky travellers of those latituds. Strong and prevailing Love lights up for Nature, and for the gifts which our life allows us to perceive when, switching off all the dayly problems and cares, the glance becames unconditioned veneration of the stars which lights up the soul, in the desert...

...obviously , all this, doesn’t prevent the rough playful and noisy side which stays in all of us, so to let us merge in the emotion of speed which human being, has always wanted and desired since its discovery ...hehehe.

Here we are, on the ate afternoon of the 31st December 2010, in front of the last garage available to rent quads.

Hassam, cunning fellow, received the full payment, starts driving us throught the Sahara dunes ( ...or a t least this is what he beleved, considerably underestimating the italians’ attitude to independance and habit to speed...hehehe )...

In this brief movie, in which I ride the quad with one hand and with the other keeping the camera, it’s shown a little piece of what me ( Vasco ) and Nicola we have enjoyed doing with the quads risking our “ skeleton frame” :-).

Two tips:
1) always pay after in Morocco... ;-)
2) you can save up to 60% (!) booking places to stay directly on site, instead of pre-booking thought the big turism portals.

Enjoy it and Salamalekum.

Alla Dolce Vita @ Bald Rock National Park, Australia

Presented by Vasco Petruzzi to share my passion for the sweet life...

Girraween is situated approximately 260km by road south-west of Brisbane. To reach the park, turn off the New England Highway 26km south of Stanthorpe or 11km north of Wallangarra. The winding bitumen road continues a further 9km east through the Wyberba Valley to the park information centre.

The alternative road from Stanthorpe to Girraween via Eukey and Storm King Dam has some sections of gravel.
Girraween National Park is a park of massive granite outcrops, balancing boulders and clear tumbling cascades.

Golden wattles, yellow, red and purple pea flowers, dainty orchids and flannel flowers grow amid forests of red-gum, stringybark and blackbutt. Frogs, lizards and snakes rustle among the leaf litter. Brilliant turquoise parrots, yellow-tufted honeyeaters and superb blue wrens splash the granite-strewn countryside with colour, while red-necked wallabies, brush-tailed possums and spiny echidnas weave their way through the wonders of the woodland.

Alla DolceVita in Cape Tribulation In Australia with Vasco Petruzzi

Presented by Vasco Petruzzi http://www.alladolcevita.it as he shares his passion for the sweet life at the Daintree Cape Tribulation coast where the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree rainforest meet, the only place on earth where two World Heritage areas exist side by side.

Whatever accommodation http://www.hotelsinqueensland.com/ you are looking for, you will find it in the Daintree Rainforest — Cape Tribulation area — budget, backpacker, camp sites, bed and breakfast, farmstay, self-contained units, yoga retreat, motel or resort. You will get a better appreciation of the local area if you plan to stay more than a day.

There is so much to do, and the Daintree Rainforest is a great place to relax and unwind so stay a few days and learn to appreciate the area with local tour guides — the Daintree National Park really is an ecotourism paradise. Most locals would agree that a visit to the Great Barrier Reef in a small group, snorkelling or diving would be a highlight. The Great Barrier Reef is very close to the coast at Cape Tribulation. Don't miss the opportunity to go into the Daintree Rainforest with a local guide, so that you can truly appreciate the Wet Tropics World Heritage Rainforest; discover rainforest animals on a night walk; or climb into the canopy of the Daintree rainforest. To spot a crocodile in its natural habitat is a thrilling experience; or birdwatch on the Daintree River. Another highlight would be walking and beach--combing the deserted beaches which stretch for miles along the Daintree Coast; enjoy a sunrise over the Coral Sea; paddle the coast in a sea kayak; ride a horse along a deserted beach.

Taste rare tropical fruit; watch a cassowary cross the road; and gaze at the brilliant stars away from the glare of the city. These are just a few of the experiences which await you. Just being away from civilization and your mobile phone can be a highlight for some. GREAT BARRIER REEF Only 45min by boat, The Great Barrier Reef is at it's closest to mainland Australia off the Daintree Coast. With a plethora of water activities, including snorkelling and diving to be done, a day trip to the reef is not to be missed.

Visitors can spot turtles, dolphins, a multitude of tropical fish and even the occassional whale. DAINTREE RAINFOREST Consisting of the world's oldest evolving rainforest, the Daintree is where the Rainforest meets The Reef. Enjoy one of the many free walks in the area or take the oppurtunity to head along on a guided tour. During the summer months a quick dip in Mason's waterhole is a welcome relief from the heat of the day. CAPE TRIBULATION BEACH This is a magical stretch of white sand and rainforest located just to the North of Cape Tribulation headland. You can park in the National Park car park, walk up to the lookout and then head north along the beach for a few kilometres of peace and quiet.

MYALL BEACH Located South of Cape Tribulation headland. You can access the beach from a small track next to PK's Jungle Village or by parking in the Dubiji Boardwalk car park and following the signs through to the beach. If you head to the northern end of Myall Beach there is a small path that leads you over the headland and onto Cape Tribulation Beach. If you head south along Myall Beach there is a small track that will take you along Masons Creek and to Masons General Store and Myall Creek Takeaway.

The takeaway is home of the best burgers north of the Daintree River and also the Myall Creek Hotdog which it is rumoured that people have travelled from as far as Greenland to taste! SOUTH NOAH BEACH Located just south of Cape Tribulation. If you are heading north, just before Cape Tribulation there is a sign on the right hand side of the road saying Noah's Campground. This is a National Park Camping reserve, which you can park at and walk through to Noahs beach. Once on the beach you can head south and walk along the beach to Noahs Creek, which is a great spot for fishing or even Crocodile spotting.
